The Supernatural, mystery, UFO sightings, strange encounters and occult...the alternative science

Things happen on this world...things that science can't explain...things that defy logic...at least, to those who think they know what logic is...the Super Natural...do you believe?

the spirits that posess another person are either hostile spirits or 'demons' and zoro, be assured nobody likes a hostile spectre. I can't say that i have had an 'experience' though i have more than once had the sensation of someone standing by my bed at night although no one was there, but it's nothing more than the mind playing tricks on me ^^, until i can get some 'solid' evidence i'm not saying any of the sort... well, about the mediums, there's something called the astral plane, a sort of 'world' that coexists with ours, and the people with 'the gift' are nothing more than Sensitive to the astral plane where the spirits and such dwell...it's a very complex topic and i am very glad to explain ^^ so just ask away cuz i can't bother writing it all down now...

ok, well no I am partially grateful to say that my mother is utterly oblivious to the going ons of the astral plane, the only stories i know are those that she's told me of her other relatives' experiences...the reason i say partially is because there is a great chance that i am hence less likely to have one of those experiences though somewhere deep inside I actually want to experience SOMETHING super natural and i'll explain about the astral plane another time...^^

well, i believe that it's possible that humans can be posessed by those bad bad ghosts..but i want a PROOF..i want to see it with my own eyes..i know i can be very grotesque..but if i don't experience it (i mean, it's kind of scary to be a part of an exorcism..oh well )or anything, then i doubt every lil thing if this or that might be true or not..^_~ well, that's typically me..XD i don't believe in things that easily...hehe

My parents are in such a church thing club or something. Once they spoke about these possesions in this group and they had an exorzist there. Just for this day. And he told them, that these Emilie Rose thing is very realistic and that it is easy to become possesed. This "Tischchenrücken" thing, for example, is very very dangerous, he said. He told a story where some boys made this and in the end they weren't able to send the gost away. They asked the gost how to get rid of it (the gost) and it said: smash the glass. They had done this "Tischchen rücken" thing with a glass. They tried it and threw it against the wall, but it didn't broke. They tried and tried to smash it, but it didn't work... So he told it... You may belive in it, or not. I do...

I agree, experimenting with the astral plane and the dead is a foolish thing to due especially when you're inexperienced...I think it's called a Ouija board...when the spirit controls the movement of the small piece to indicate letters and comunicate that way...

In general this kind of thing can easily get out of control and can be dangerous even when an expert handles it...anything could go wrong...but then again it all depends on what kind of spirit you are trying to call/invoke...

check out the info on wikipedia...it's scary i tell you since demonic spirits are actually attracted to ouija boards and pretend to be cooperative ghosts to trick those who use the board and then attempt a possession...

Thank you for the information, aloha. I don't really know if it is dangerous to do such things, but I wouldn't like to test it out. But I don't belive that ghosts can kill you by normal way like a knive or a gun or such things. I belive they are able to made you to commit suecide or kill you by frighten you to death. But they are not able to do that, if you don't call them or wish them to come. Most of the death ones that "live" on earth need help to see that they are dead, I think. They live like they weren't. That's my opinion. Or, they have to finish something. I don't belive that there are really bad ghosts who really want to kill you or to harm you. They do because they don't know better.

Well, true many of the spirits wandering the Earth are 'harmless' or 'dormant' and yes, there are quite a few cases in which the ghost does not realise that they have passed on...

However, there ARE such things as hostile spirits, or 'Poltergeists' that specialise in moving objects, such as rearanging furniture or throwing objects around the room, loud sounds such as footsteps or thumping noises...however it is only in the most extreme of cases that a spirit like that will get aggressive to the extent that they inflict physical harm on a person, there ARE cases though where it has been known to happen...

in one case, a little girl was almost strangled to death by a pair of 'unseen hands'...her father say the imprints of the fingers on her neck and when he placed his own hands there, he *felt* a pair of icy cold hands on his daughter's neck...but then again, that cottage did have a bit of a reputation and the spirit had given them plenty of warning...

Word of advice, if ur house's haunted and the exorcism fails...LEAVE...you'll be safe in most cases...unless (And this is again in the more extreme cases) the spirit follows you (it has been known to happen) well, be strong and don't give up on ur faith...

you can't KILL ghosts...they're dead already (duh) and you don't even know the first thing about excorcism and stuff, do you think it's easy? You think you can just waltz in and say: "Hey ghost get outta here!"

It's not that simple...sheesh, if it was then there'd never be a problem with spirits...

THAT'S you great source of inspiration?!!!

Baka! Baka! Baka! *smacks forehead into a tree*

Eh...you expect me to tell you all I know of the astral plane in a snap? That'd take ages!

I'll begin with the basics and you can ask more specific questions from there...

Now, it is believed that there are different planes, our world, the world of the living you could say and the astral plane, not exactly the world of the dead but more likely a 'plane' that is parallel to ours that houses many spirits and such (there's much more to it, but it's just too much to explain)

Anyway, people who can sense or see any supernatural occurences, are 'sensitive' to the astral plane, this can be refered to as 'the sixth sense' or 'third eye'. People who are sensitive to the astral plane are also more likely to be possessed.

So, normal insensitive people are most likely not to notice any of the energy the astral plane emits...however there have been known cases of spirits especially hostile to cause a commotion great enough to make even the most insensitive person notice...so being insensitive does not render you safe from a supernatural attack...

and thus ends chapter one on the astral plane...more info on the astral plane the next time i comment, I'm not done yet.

Ehm... I have a thing you can do easily to get rid of ghosts... You only have to imagine a white or violet spiral, they are for two of the "Erzengel" Gabriel and Michael. They will protect you and send the ghosts away. It's true I know because I do it myself. You can feel it... I promise...
Or just put a "Schutzschild" around the house you want to protect from bad spirits... But, it only works if you strongly believe in it and in your own powers.

and he spoke very slowly with this weird grin on his face, and kept on asking them if they wanted to come in and maybe...have a drink of water...

zoro- it takes much more than that to get me furious...I'm just mildly exasperated by your level of maturity

wink - well anything that cannot be explained by normal every-day means is considered a mystery...there are explanations for deja vu - science believes that deja vu occurs when the brain makes a mistake concerning memory, making something that we've never seen before seem familiar, i.e. we think that we saw this/experienced this already when in fact we haven't.

There also exists a counterpart to deja vu known as jamais vu (never seen) where the exact opposite happens, when something familiar, something we ought to know suddenly becomes completely unfamiliar, though by far deja vu is much more common especially in younger people who tend to have the more active minds ^^

of course there are those who want to believe that there is much more to deja vu than science believes...

Hey, this with the brain I know, but for me it's NOT true... I know that I have dreamed about some things that had happened afterwards... That was NO mistake of my brain... Some others know it too... Just the same is the thing with: We are everytime dreaming at night... Rapid eye movement, remember? It's not so. I know that I'm NOT dreaming all the time. Sometimes I know that I'm not dreaming when I'm asleep, because my senses are with me then... And I know that my senses are sometimes NOT with me... maybe I'm dreaming then...

Now, feeling as if you have complete control of yourself and senses while you are asleep is called, 'Lucidity' it's a fairly common phenomenon and many people train themselves to have constant lucidity while they sleep, so they can 'control' their dreams.

well, I can say now that it can be a little silly to naturally assume supernatural activity for anything strange that happens, that's just as bad as being superstitious.

Sometimes houses tend to creak and groan and whatever, it's possibly nothing and if you don't hear that sound again, there's nothing to be worried about.

In other news...I watched 'The Exorcist' and I advise you don't watch it unless you're strong enough to stomache this kind of thing and if you're wondering, I watches some special extended DVD version that was rated R 18+ so you may kinda have a clue of how extreme this thing is.

Ehm... I know what souds houses make sometimes... this noise was none of that sort. You can believe me. I'm no smal girl crying when a thunder starts... It was a strange noise like someone was knocking on the Heizkessel... Nothing that you hear when you are alone at home and the floor is knacking and the cupbords are stratching and things like that...

Since I was not there to hear or see anything for myself I cannot say anything for certain, though you are quite possibly just being paranoid.

If it's just the noises, there's nothing to worry about, especially if they only occur when you're alone as this further emphasises the naturally occuring paranoia of the mind.

In short: Don't worry about it if it's just the noises.

I don't worry! I just asked... Because there are some other strange things in other houses too. I just asked if something strange had happend to you that you can't explain... that's all. I am not afraid or anything. I just wanted to know... :-(

No worries, wink ^^

Sure everyone has some weird experiences.

I'll write about some of my own 'weird' experiences sometime, but at the moment there's a quest with my name on it...

Well, here's a recent one...although this isn't my experience, it's my brother's ^^;

A few months ago, he had this school performance, it went over two nights, and since we don't have a car, he has no choice but to walk, i was with him the second time, but the first while walking across the lower green patch (a fairly large grassy area at the front of the school with no surrounding lights) he stopped and looked back and could have sworn he saw a tall dark figure but it was gone when he looked again...when I was with him the second time, same time of night and same place, we were walking back on our way home from his performance...he told me about it...and well, alone in the dark...it's not a big confidence booster...we just stopped walking and then he suddenly went, "Want to hold hands?"

Well, I took on his offer so we walked across the dark oval, holding hands and singing the coconut song (he had performed 'the Crimson Coconut')

I couldn't proof, for we delate the photo... BUT... in greek, my broth, my sis and I slept in one room together... my broth took a photo in the middle of the night to wake us girls up, for fun... we looked at the photo that he had taken and I saw near the toilet door, next to my bed, there stood a shadow, looking like the Death of Sims2. I swear. My sister saw it on the photo too. I told my broth to delate the photo. Now... Maybe we shouldn't have delated it, but... it was fun scaring my sis with that ^^ What do you think of that?

No! I SAID that he was in a PLAY, and quite obviously, the PLAY was titled: "The Crimson Coconut" which is a PLAY not a song.

However there is a song from MONTY PYTHON, that u can partially hear on funnyjunk...(yes, a song about coconuts)
